Campus Dorms
FIT Residential Life Office tries to keep abreast of our ever-changing and dynamic Chelsea neighborhood. Below is an interactive map with FIT's campus and resources that may be helpful.
Residence Halls
Four on-campus residence halls house approximately 1,217 new/entering students on 27th Street and 1,100 current/returning students at 31st street's Kaufman Hall. Kaufman Hall also serves as home to our summer housing program for visiting interns.
27th Street Residence Halls: for new/entering students only
Coed Hall
Offers traditional double and triple accommodations, double apartments and a limited amount of quad apartments. Meal plan is required for residents in traditional style accommodations. To learn more about Coed Hall
Nagler Hall
Female-only residence hall offering mainly traditional style double accommodations (without aircondition) and a very limited amount of air-conditioned double and single apartments. Meal plan is required for residents in traditional style accommodations. To learn more about Nagler Hall
Alumni Hall
Offers quad apartments only. Meal plan is not required but may be purchased at an additional cost. To learn more about Alumni Hall
31st Street Residence Hall:
for current/returning FIT students and summer housing for visiting interns.
George and Mariana Kaufman Hall
Comprised of mainly double apartments, with a limited number of triple, quad, and single apartments available. Meal plan is not required but may be purchased at an additional cost. To learn more about Kaufman Hall
